The TRC Women will be undertaking the 58 Squat Challenge for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, with over 20 dedicated members—our "Squat it Up TRC" team—committing to 58 squats per day throughout March to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research.
With 58 Australians diagnosed with breast cancer daily and rates continuing to rise, we are stepping up to make a difference.
Instead of a seat fee for this year’s IWD Row to Raise event, we invite you to donate to our Squat it Up TRC group via the National Breast Cancer Foundation Donation Page
or via the IWD event registration page.

On the day, we will be challenging everyone to rise with us—while we squat for 31 days, we ask you to squat with us for just one at breakfast to show your support. Together, let’s make every squat count in the fight against breast cancer. We are serious about squats, and we are serious about saving lives!
This IWD we launch Active Women and Girls Workshops

Bought to you by Rowing Queensland with the support of the Queensland State Government, these workshops aim to enhance opportunities for women and girls to participate in our sport. This initiative provides crucial support across various roles, from athletes to coaches, volunteers, officials, and managers.

Three specialised programs, delivered by Fitter Futures, Inspire Health Services, and Elite Health Performance, have been developed by industry professionals to encourage greater involvement in all aspects of the sport. By promoting skill and knowledge development, the programs empower women and girls to stay active, be confident, and thrive within our community.
A big thank you to Rowing Queensland and the Queensland State Government for their invaluable support in making this initiative possible.

Don’t miss out—book early for our workshop series!
