  • Are you a Year Eleven 1st or 2nd VIII rower and want to keep rowing over the winter to improve your technique for the 2024 season?

  • Are you a Year Twelve 1st or 2nd VIII rower wanting to continue rowing or simply stay in touch with the sport until you have completed Year 12 before continuing with competitive rowing?

  • Are you someone who has left school in the last few years and is considering returning to rowing?

If yes, then come along to our medium/big boat session trial day.

Toowong Rowing Club (TRC) has a robust membership that includes rowers across all categories: juniors, high performance, veterans, Honorary Life Members, recreational rowers, and social members. Our club boasts exceptional facilities and equipment, including a fully equipped gymnasium and a Functions Centre that hosts weddings, corporate functions, and community-based events.

The club was established in 1889 at the corner of Park Road and Coronation Drive, Toowong. Floods washed away the shed on two occasions, so we relocated and erected a new shed a smidge upstream from the Regatta Hotel. Once again, the floodwaters washed the shed away—this time, the devastating 1974 floods.

In 1976, the club moved to 37 Keith Street, St Lucia, where it remains to this day.
